A body scrub for chocoholics!

I received a really nice gift from The Body Shop. I was interested in their new Chocomania range and was given the body scrub. Needless to say I was excited like a little kid – I’ve always been interested in TBS body scrubs, but I’ve never purchased one myself.

The Body Shop introduced the Chocomania range since Valentine’s Day is coming up. I think it’s a clever idea, don’t chocolate and Valentine’s Day go hand in hand? There’s also a body butter, a body lotion, a shower cream, a lip butter and some heart-shaped soaps in the range. Since I’ve tried TBS body creams, butters and lip butters already, I was really lucky to receive something totally new.
The packaging is a classic TBS body scrub packaging. When I first opened this, I was all “wow” and “ahh” – the smell is a-ma-zing! It smells exactly like a chocolate pudding and it looked like one as well. I made my whole family smell this and they all liked it. It’s not a fake chocolate smell – it’s the real thing.

Since my shower is broken, I’ve only been taking baths lately. I took this with me and was surprised – it melted after 4-5 seconds of rubbing and didn’t really scrub that much. I knew this couldn’t be normal and thought that warm and wet skin might be the problem. I dried my body and gave it another go – this time it didn’t melt as fast and I could scrub my skin as long as I wanted to. It felt nice – I knew I got rid of all the dead skin cells, but it didn’t hurt my skin. The smell is absolutely gorgeous and once it’s melted it leaves the skin so soft and moisturized. I’ve always been hesitated to buy an expensive body scrub, since I thought it would run out really fast – well, I only needed a little bit for my whole body! Maybe two or three table spoons? I love this product and since I only scrub my body maybe 2-3 times a month I have a feeling this will last me for quite some time. Now I’m already excited to try other smells too… Oh well, did I really need to fall in love with another The Body Shop product?

Ma sain The Body Shopilt väga mõnusa kingituse. Seoses peai saabuva valentinipäevaga tutvustasid nad uut Chocomania kollektsiooni – mõnusat šokolaadist komplekti, mille tahaks sõna otseses mõttes nahka pista. Kollektsioonis on kehavõi, kehakoorija, huulepalsam, dušikreem, kehakreem ja šokolaadiseebid. Ma olen juba The Body Shopi kreeme, palsameid ja dušigeele proovinud, seega oli mul väga hea meel, et mulle kingiti just kehakoorija. Olen alati mõelnud, kas need võiksid head olla, kuid pole endale ise veel sealt kehakoorijat ostnud.

Koorija on klassikalises BS pakendis ja niipea kui ma sellelt korgi pealt keerasin, tungis mu ninna tugev šokolaadiaroom. See näeb välja täpselt nagu šokolaadipuding või -suflee. Sundisin tervet oma perekonda seda nuusutama ja kõik nõustusid, et lõhn on imeline.

Kasutasin seda vannis, sest mu dušš on juba mõnda aega katki. Olin algul väga üllatunud, sest jõudsin seda paar sekundit kehale hõõruda ja siis sulas see olematuks. Teadsin, et üks korralik kehakoorija ei peaks niimoodi toimima ja otsustasin, et asi on märjas ja vannisoojas kehas. Kuivatasin end ära ja proovisin uuesti – siis sain koorida nii kaua kui tahtsin. Niisiis – kasutage seda pigem kuival kehal.

Mul on hea meel, et ma sain lõpuks kogemuse BS kehakoorijatega ja sisetunne ütleb, et jään neid ka edaspidi kasutama. Ma ei saa lihtsalt nende lõhnade ja ilusate pakendite vastu! Varem pidasin ma seda liiga kalliks, sest uskusin, et ühest potsikust jätkub võib-olla maksimu kümneks korraks. Tegelikult kulus mul aga terve keha peale vaid umbes kaks-kolm supilusikatäit. Kuna koorin end umbes 2-3 korda kuus, siis jätkub sellest kindlasti pikemaks ajaks. Väga-väga mõnus koorija, mida julgen kindlasti soovitada. Pruuni värvuse tõttu tuleb lihtsalt dušš/vann pärast üle loputada. Pärast on keha niisutatud, pehme ja lõhnab pisut magusalt. :)

lugesin ka mõni aeg tagasi sellest TBS sarjast ja mõtlesin kohe, et "whyyy??? nüüd pean jälle midagi soetama niikuinii! :D"
lähim TBS pood on Tartus, nii-et pean sealt eemale hoidma vist.. aga samas – šokolaadiga seotud ilutooted on ju niiiii head! :P
