Before London I had never tried macaroons… I know there’s a little bakery in Tallinn that sells them, but I just didn’t believe in them. I wanted something more genuine, something from somewhere… else. There is a really lucxurious place called Laduree, but I didn’t even bother trying to find it after the crowds at Harrods had pissed me off… Sorry, but Harrods was full of loud tourists and by the time I was on the right way I was just too annoyed. “Nevermind,” I told my boyfriend and we left Harrods without delicious macaroons. But at the same night we went to St. Paul’s and there was a cute little bakery called PAUL there. And on the window were beautiful macaroons! A box of 12 macaroons cost 8.25 pounds and they also had big ones that cost 2.95… and my first macaroon experience began!
Well… ofcourse I loved them, especially chocolate, lemon and pistachio… and raspberry! If you ever see PAUL anywhere, go in and spoil yourself a little. You know you’ve earned it. :) To all the cocolate girls out there, the big chocolate one would be basically… all you ever need in life. :)
Imehea! Minu lemmikuteks said sidrun, šokolaad ja pistaatsia.
