Just as I said that Iõll try to use up at least 10 products every month, I have this pathetic mostl body care empties-post for you. I’ll tr to be better in June – I already know that I will have some makeup empties then as well. ;)
NB!
The Body Shop Shea Body Scrub is a big favourite of mine – I love the shea range (it just smells so good) from The Body Shop and this scrub leaves an oily texture to the skin, which I have actually used for shaving – works well. ;) Unfortunately, Make Up Store couldn’t compete with that. Twisted Strawberry & Lime body scrub from their Home Spa range has a very fake fruity smell, which I just didn’t enjoy. The texture was nice though and it scrubbed well, but unfortunately I could only use it for 3-4 times, since the pot only has 100ml in it, which is honestly quite a rip off for a body scrub that you actually need quite a lot, especially when you scrub our whole body.
NB! Both of these scrubs are sugar based and need to be used on damp, not wet skin – otherwise they will just melt away before you can actually use them.
The Body Shop Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub is a really good product! It scrubs off all the dead skin and leaves your feet baby soft. But keep in mind that when you use it while youõre sitting in the bath, you can actually hurt your bottom, since the volcanic rock is quite harsh and it doesn’t melt away in warm water. :D
I was very disappointed in Nivea Visage makeup wipes for dry and sensitive skin. They did remove my makeup, but I had to work on it, since the wipes are quite dry and not wet at all. First two wipes were oka, but after that they got quite dry and pointless. I sealed the package well, but that didn’t seem to help. Even my mom’s Olay wipes that she has had in her bathroom for over a year now, are still wet, although the package was opened months and months ago…
Yves Rocher purple lilac shower gel is a big favourite of mine, mostl because it has a real lilac scent that reminds me of summer. There’s really nothing else I can say about a simple shower gel. :/
